Supporting deer veterinarians is a key role of the DeerPRO programme. We provide them with hands-free, easy access, key health and productivity data for their farmers' deer. We support their recommendations on animal health investigations and to assess and plan for management changes to boost productivity. We also contribute regularly to the New Zealand Veterinary Assocation conference and to the teaching of veterinary students.
